Contractual Services

Contractual Services money is an SGA budget category that comes with many restrictions.

1. Restrictions:
   • Can only be used to pay for a person providing a service ( DJ, Band, Henna Artist, Sandcastle Builder, Clown, Mime, Speaker, etc.)
   • The CANNOT be an employee of Florida State University in any manner. (Former employees are fine but they must be out of the payroll system)
   • The person must perform this service on a regular basis (i.e. you can’t hire a friend to DJ and event who does not have any experience)
2. If you receive sponsorship you MUST e-mail a copy of your event flyer AND the contact information for the person you are trying to hire to the Treasurer.
   • The flyer must include the IRHC and SGA logos.
3. The Treasurer will confirm with you that the purchase order request has been filed and will contact you if there are any problems.
4. The SGA accounting office will automatically pay your contracted performer as long as you have followed the above steps.
