Food Permits

If IRHC is hosting an event with non-Aramark food, then the following process needs to be followed in order to have food at an event.

  1. Go to www.safety.fsu.edu
  2. On the list on the left, click on “Forms”
  3. Click on the PDF for the first document titled “Request for Approval of a Temporary Food Event”
  4. Put your name, your position, IRHC, a phone number where you can be reached at, and your e-mail address. Put down the phone number and the e-mail for the organization only if both the phone and the e-mail account are checked on a regular basis. If you are strapped for time, put down your personal phone and e-mail.
  5. The Union Guest Services S.E.P. number is not required.
  6. By using the PDF form of the document, everything can be typed. If you run out of space with the lines given, print it out and fill it in instead but still type everything possible.
  7. If you can type everything on the form, save it and e-mail it to ahicks@admin.fsu.edu or print it and fax to 850-644-2754. Faxing it is recommended.
  8. Check e-mail regularly and answer any questions sent to you by EH&S. Forms are usually approved within three days.
